SUMMARY:Board/Committee Chairs Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Action:  By-law changes as directed by the LWVUS regarding the New Membership Model\, approved by Board.  Document has been sent to membership for virtual vote of approval. \nThe change: \nSection 2. Membership and Dues.\nThe membership roster shall be submitted to the LWVUS in accordance with the LWVUS guidelines. Members shall pay dues in accordance with LWVUS policy.\nAll members shall pay membership dues except those exempted from paying dues (in Article III). Membership lasts one year after joining or renewal. Members who fail to renew within the period specified by LWVUS will be removed from the roster. \nWe ask that you\, as a member\, attend a zoom meeting on December 17 at 5PM to vote on adopting those changes. It will only take a minute to vote.\nIt is important to have a good turnout from our membership! We need a quorum of the membership to attend in order to pass the changes in the bylaws. \nThe zoom link will be posted in the December 1 newsletter with further details and a reminder sent out December 17. \nIf you have any further questions please contact:\nIrene Bugge <irenebugge@gmail.com>\nBeth Wood <bwood@frontiernet.net>
