Wisconsin voters will elect a new Supreme Court Justice on April 7, 2026, for a 10-year term. Two candidates have been announced: Judge Chris Taylor (Court of Appeals, District IV – Madison) and Judge Maria Lazar (Court of Appeals, District II – Waukesha).
LWV-St. Croix Valley will be co-sponsoring this candidate forum with LWV-Great Chippewa Valley chapter and Community Conversations. Judge Taylor has confirmed she will join us in
Menomonie for a live event, venue to be determined. Judge Lazar has been invited to attend—either in person on December 6, on an alternate date, or virtually.
